Veronica was born in Soviet Union (Ukraine)
in 1984, and immigrated to Israel in 1990.
Graduated her studies at the Lee Strasberg theater and film institute in New York and later at the Sam Spiegel film and television school in Jerusalem.
She Is filmmaker, screenwriter, artist photographer and actress.
Her first feature film, Houses (BATIM), won the Torino Feature Lab Award in 2019, and had its world premiere in the Berlinale Forum in 2025.
In the same year, the film also screened at the Lichter Film Festival in Frankfurt, the TLV International LGBT Film Festival, the Official Competition of the Jerusalem International Film Festival, and the Jerusalem Women’s Film Festival.
Her previous short film: Who are you, Water-fish, Every day and Confession, participated in international film festivals.
The film Confession won a prize for the short independent film in the Cinema South international film festival 2019.
Tetelbaum’s photography, which delves into themes of identity and memory, has been exhibited in various galleries, including Waiting at the Nolobz Art Gallery in Tel Aviv in 2019.
She also played in films of Amos Gitai, Assaf Tager, Hagar Ben Asher, Eitan Tzur and more…
Her second feature film, Family Ties, is currently in development.
The project received a development grant from the Israel Film Fundand is taking part in the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg programme.
FILMOGRAPHY & FESTIVALS
'Houses' (BATIM), her first feature film had it's world premiere in forum section of Berlin's Film Festival 2025.
In the same year, also screened at the Lichter Film Festival in Frankfurt, the TLV International LGBT Film Festival, the Official Competition of the Jerusalem International Film Festival, and the Jerusalem Women’s Film Festival.
‘Confession’ in 2017, a short independent film, was participated in LGBT Film Festival 2018, and 2018 Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival. And in 2019 won a prize for the “Short independent film” in the “Cinema South international film festival”.
‘Every Day’ in 2015, a short independent film was participated in Long Short Tel-Aviv film festival, and LGBT film Festival.
'Water Fish' in 2014 was participated in Haifa Film Festival 2015,
in Lethal Lesbian film festival, and The Tel Aviv International LGBT Film Festival.
'Who are you' in 2012 was participated in "Tbilisi" film festival in Georgia,
In Tel Aviv International LGBT Film Festival and the Lethal Lesbian Film Festival.
